Mo’Nique has done it again it seems that she gives her all and all at whatever she does. Here she has accepted her award at the Golden Globe awards. It was some talk going on about Monique’s performance in the film precious for weeks on end and I happy to see that she gets some kind of credit and some acclaim for an outstanding performance. I have waited for this to happen for Monique. When she acts she takes on the role and she becomes that role and she plays to the folks so why not get an award. It’s about time. Monique has her own late-night TV talk show called “Monique” and she has a lot of interesting guest on her Shows and a lot of good topics and she is real when it comes down to her show. She likes to invite people into her show is if they are actually in the audience. She greets everyone with a warm smile and then invites you onto her show. Monique gave an emotional acceptance speech, and she looked lovely in her long gold strapless gown and thanked her hubby Sidney Hicks and her costar Gabby Sidibe before dedicating her award to victims of sexual abuse. Monique stated, “I celebrate this award with all the precious’s with all the Mary’s. I celebrate this award with every person that’s ever been touched she said. It’s now time to tell them its okay”. That was a wonderful statement, and I’m sure that those who are living the life of precious and all of the Mary’s, that they’ve watched this movie. Now that they know that they can stand up and speak out and get help. Thank you Monique for the wonderful performance that you always give us, whether it is on your talk show or in a movie.
