Micheal's Kids will accept Award for their Dad

You know it’s hard to believe that we have lost the King of Pop. But on Saturday at the special merit award ceremony to accept the Grammy lifetime achievement award will be Michael’s two eldest children. It would make their father very proud. Prince Michael, 12, in Paris, 11, are scheduled to make their first appearance since the memorial service of their fathers funeral. According to CNN quoted unnamed Jackson family sources Blanket Jackson’s youngest son, 7, is not expected to appear at the award show. It may be just a little bit for him. After all he is a young fellow. However, not everyone in the Jackson family is happy with the planned presentation. Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson, will attend the ceremony, Joe Jackson, Michael’s father will not be present. And it’s probably because he is angry that he was not consulted about having his grandchildren except awards according from an unknown source. We wish the Jackson family peace and harmony, and the children may remember their father for all the good things he has done.

You know, John Edwards the presidential hopeful new he was in a sex scandal. But it didn’t faze him because he thought he had everything under control. The bad part about it is that his wife Elizabeth had to go through all this. John could have saved himself and his family from all the scrutiny. A lot of pain could’ve been avoided if he’d done a long time ago. John Edwards have gone through a lot to hide his extra curricular activities. All this could’ve been avoided simply. Now the child is here and I’m pretty sure that he wants to be sure that the child was his. Well John how do you expect to go to war and don’t get any bullets. You know, if you’re out there for the round and not using protection. Your bound to get two things one is a disease the other is a baby or you can get both the disease and the baby. Elizabeth Edwards is really going through a tragedy herself with her sickness and she certainly doesn’t deserve this. I hope John will find it in his heart to ask God for forgiveness and to take care of the child because she didn’t ask to come here.

The Cayman Islands Has An Earthquake

The Cayman Islands had a 5.8 magnitude earth quake. It is a U.K Territory in Caribbean about 600 miles west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. There were no real serious reports of any injuries in the three-island chain in the Caribbean. Cayman Islands my place of birth. I would never dream of hearing about an earthquake and I only knew of hurricanes. Last week as we all know Haiti which is only several hundred miles away had a big earthquake that killed so many people. It was a disaster, that countries all over the world came out to help and sent donations to help the Haitian people. Now, the Cayman Islands are a very beautiful Island full of white sandy beaches, sunshine and good people. Let’s all pray that god will watch over our Island. Folks talk to your children I know they are indeed scared comfort them as much as you can.

When it comes down to giving back to your community, Tyler Perry is a saint. Mr. Perry went to his website and encouraged others to do the same. The mega-superstar producer has pledged several donations to Haiti’s relief efforts. The first donation totaling $250,000 now that’s what I call a gift. It is good to give back, especially at a time like this. The people in Haiti are very thankful for all the donations that were given all over the world. But nothing can bring back a love one, but we are praying for those who have lost their loved ones in this tragedy. Let’s all give thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to ask for his guidance.

"Hero's" Star Jimmy-Jean Louis Travels to Haiti

Actor Jimmy-Jean Louis traveled to see his parents in Haiti after the earth, quake ripped apart their homeland. The “Heroes” star told radar online.com that he was very glad to see his parents and that they were safe, but everyone was having a rough time coping with the tragedy. Louis shared something that he’d just didn’t wish to see “It is so graphic the bodies in the streets and they were treated like a piece of garbage”. The way the bodies had been handled was just sad. I’m pretty sure it was a horrific sight; we are hoping that Haiti is getting its relief and getting help and medical attention. This has been a hard time for the Haitian people.

Mo’Nique has done it again it seems that she gives her all and all at whatever she does. Here she has accepted her award at the Golden Globe awards. It was some talk going on about Monique’s performance in the film precious for weeks on end and I happy to see that she gets some kind of credit and some acclaim for an outstanding performance. I have waited for this to happen for Monique. When she acts she takes on the role and she becomes that role and she plays to the folks so why not get an award. It’s about time. Monique has her own late-night TV talk show called “Monique” and she has a lot of interesting guest on her Shows and a lot of good topics and she is real when it comes down to her show. She likes to invite people into her show is if they are actually in the audience. She greets everyone with a warm smile and then invites you onto her show. Monique gave an emotional acceptance speech, and she looked lovely in her long gold strapless gown and thanked her hubby Sidney Hicks and her costar Gabby Sidibe before dedicating her award to victims of sexual abuse. Monique stated, “I celebrate this award with all the precious’s with all the Mary’s. I celebrate this award with every person that’s ever been touched she said. It’s now time to tell them its okay”. That was a wonderful statement, and I’m sure that those who are living the life of precious and all of the Mary’s, that they’ve watched this movie. Now that they know that they can stand up and speak out and get help. Thank you Monique for the wonderful performance that you always give us, whether it is on your talk show or in a movie. Teddy Pendergrass has Passed away

On a sad note, our beloved R&B Singer the Great Teddy Pendergrass has died of colon cancer he was just 59. I remember when I went to one of his concerts in South Carolina that was before the crash... Boy did teddy turn it out. He just had that voice that rattled your insides. He will be greatly missed by us all. Teddy Pendergrass II, the singer’s son stated that his father underwent colon cancer surgery about eight months ago and had a “difficult recovery”. Teddy was a heart throb with songs such as “Close The Door” ,”Love T.K.O” and other hits that have become classics. Wishing the Pendergrass family all the love and support and he too will be remember for his style of singing.

His ex-girl friend gave birth to his daughter a few weeks before Peter Orszag got engaged to a different lady. After the New York Post reported the story, Orszag and His Baby Momma Claire Milonas also of New York gave a joint statement about the birth of their little pride and joy. Claire Gave birth in November ,both mother and child are doing well. ABC’s News reporter Bianna Golodryga ,Orszag’s Fiance, announced their engagement on “Good Morning America” on December 29. The two met at the the White House Correspondents Dinner last May .

Producer Shawty Redd Turns Himself In to Authorities

Demetrius Stewart known as “Shawty Redd” the Hip –hop producer has worked with many artist such as Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, as well as Young Jeezy has turned himself in to authorities for murdering a man in his home. According to reports that, in the wee hours of new Years Day, Shawty Redd was at his home with guest, it is reported that an argument ensued with one person who threatened violence against Shawty Redd. In fear for his life Shawty Redd, retrieved his firearm for self-defense. As a result of this the individual was shot and killed this was not done intentionally. It is reported that immediately. There after that Shawty Redd Went down to the Henry County Police Department and surrendered himself after this unfortunate accident. Crime scene units were seen leaving Shawty Redd’s house in Henry County. It was reported that the two were friends. There is no word on what the true Motive was. Shawty Redd is due back in court on January 12, 2010.
